MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. In the following year, he collaborated with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he sang a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a musician who was born in a musical home. His mother and brother were both musicians. According to him, music was an integral part of his life. As a child was in school, he took saxophone and guitar. The initial goal was to become a vet, but his brother Julian convinced him to study singing with the help of a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he discovered his own ability to sing and also changed the course his life.
